Honors College Community Involvement Program

The Honors College Community Involvement Program (HCCIP), introduces honors and non-honors students to public service and leadership. Through its Mentoring, Public Health, Head Start, Literacy, and Independent Study in Service-Learning programs, HCCIP encourages our brightest and most energetic students to use their talents to improve the lives of those around them.

While participating in community service, students attend class and labs in which they work on research projects, investigate social problems and propose solutions.

HCCIP explores the social challenges we all face, and promotes contribution to the community, problem solving, and leadership. By offering a variety of community service projects, spanning all ages and walks of life, we hope that students will become involved and express themselves through service.
