Biography
Dr. Karian’s main research interests concern the eighteenth-century satirists Jonathan Swift and Alexander Pope. He has taught courses in the English department on British literature and on research methods. In the Honors College, he has taught in the fall semesters for the Humanities Sequence (The Ancient World and The Early Modern World, GN_HON 2111H and 2113H), as well as a Humanities Colloquium course, The History of Books from Clay Tablets to Electronic Tablets (GN_HON 2120H).
