Biography

Stephen Deyo is originally from Warrensburg, Missouri and earned a BA in History and a minor in International Studies from the University of Central Missouri in 2019. After college, he went on to teach English in Japan for two years before returning to America to work for the State of Missouri with the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development. Now looking to impact students from the institutional side instead of the governmental side, Stephen is excited to begin working as an Academic Advisor in the Honors College at MU. When he is not working, Stephen enjoys a variety of activities such as watching/playing different sports (especially baseball and basketball), playing video games, reading, traveling, and playing jazz music.
