To arrange a visit to Mizzou, please contact the MU Office of Admissions. You can arrange a visit through their website or call them at 573-882-7786. You and your family can take a campus tour, meet with admissions staff and a financial aid adviser, talk to students and faculty in your areas of interest, and enjoy a complimentary lunch in a residence hall as a guest when classes are in session.

If you are a prospective student with an ACT of 29 or higher, please indicate when you book your tour that you are interested in the Honors College, and you will be scheduled to meet with a member of the Honors College staff during our daily afternoon presentations. You can also request an enhanced visit through the Admissions Office to ensure that you get to see an Honors class, and visit the Honors residence halls–Mark Twain and Schurz.

The Office of Admissions asks that you call at least one week before your visit to reserve your place for a tour and complimentary meal, as well as confirm available spaces for class visits.

Honors Scholars Visit Days

We invite the most talented and accomplished students from throughout the nation to join us for one of two Scholars Days to learn more about the role that the Honors College can play in enriching and enhancing their education.
Visiting students (rising Seniors) will be treated to several unique sessions through which they will interact with the College’s students, faculty, and administrators. Special tours will be given of the Honors Learning Community (HLC) in Mark Twain Hall or Schurz Hall, as available (due to summer camps and cleaning schedules, we cannot guarantee that you will see one of the HLC halls during your visit).
A session on current student research and artistry projects will be one of the day’s highlights, where our students will share their work-in-progress and answer questions about what it is like to be a part of the College’s growing cohort of co-curricular Scholars & Fellows.
Information sessions will be held, focusing on Honors-specific scholarships and financial aid, MedOpp and the pre-med program, Fellowships, Honors study abroad, our curricular offerings, and day-to-day life as a Mizzou Honors Tiger.
Space is limited, please register through the Office of Admissions.
