Biography
Dr. Sabrina Michael joined the Honors College as an Assistant Teaching Professor Spring 2024. She will be teaching the science series courses for the Honors College. She will be teaching Marine & Freshwater Biology, From Molecules to the Cosmos, Shark-ology, and more! Her home department is at the Division of Biological Sciences, so you may see her teaching bio courses too, such as Ecology & Evolution. Sabrina received her master’s degree in Biological Sciences from Eastern New Mexico University. She is graduated with her PhD from the University of Missouri in the Fall of 2023. Sabrina studied collective behavior and decision making in treehoppers during her PhD. Sabrina absolutely loves teaching—aside from teaching science classes, she is also a scuba diving instructor. When she isn’t teaching or swimming with sharks, you can find her training jiu-jitsu!
