Biography

Dr. Larsen has been working with the Honors College since the fall of 2005. He served on the Honors Curriculum Committee from 2007-2009 and 2015-2019, and taught a course in the Behavioral Sciences Series (2016-2018) called “The Future Is Indigenous!” that focused on Indigenous activism in defense of place. Starting in fall 2022, he is teaching a new course called “Learning from Place” (GN_HON 2230H), which explores place-based and land education through direct experience in the field.
