Biography

Alisha H. Johnson is an assistant professor in the Sinclair School of Nursing where she teachers gerontological nursing and investigates how to improve older adult outcomes and care through nursing care models. She is a mentor for the ASH Scholars program IDEAs Team with a focus on how to realize human-centered design in both research and healthcare for underserved and older adult populations. Johnson regularly involves undergraduate students in research and works to intentionally build interprofessional teams to maximize learning and research outputs.
