Biography

Pruit is a postdoctoral fellow at the Kinder Institute and Honors College, where he teaches The Intellectual World of the American Founders and the Social Science Sequence, Revolutions and Constitutions. He is an intellectual historian and political theorist specializing in twentieth-century and Black political thought, particularly during the Cold War. When not at work, Pruit enjoys cooking, visiting farmers markets with his fiancé, Michael, and being a couch potato with his dog, Storm.
