Biography

At Mizzou, Toledo Candelaria’s role consists of providing strategic direction, management and support to the Library’s Special Collections. She is one of the faculty mentors (with professors Anne Rudloff Stanton and Kristy Wilson) of the ASH Scholars project Illuminated Spanish Letters of Nobility. This project investigates a large group of manuscripts known as cartas ejecutorias de hidalguías, or certificates of nobility, that are currently on loan to Mizzou Libraries.
