Biography
Kim Gill joins the Honors College with nearly a decade of nonprofit leadership experience in Southern Arizona, and a deep excitement to return to her Mid-Missouri roots. Born in Columbia but raised as part of a military family, Kim spent much of her childhood moving from place to place before eventually finding her way back to Missouri. With Mizzou woven into her family history, joining the University of Missouri feels both professionally meaningful and a bit like coming home. Kim earned a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies and a master’s degree in Christian Leadership from Grand Canyon University. She is especially excited to bring her background in service-driven leadership into the collaborative, student-centered environment of higher education.
Outside of work, Kim is an artist and creator of “Monsters Who Mean Well,” a collection of hand-built ceramic creatures and storytelling centered around whimsy and emotional navigation. She also enjoys thrifting, traveling, spending time with her husband and three giant dogs, and exploring hidden gems and the beautiful landscape of Mid-Missouri.
