Your Gift Will Keep the Honors College Strong

Since 1959, the Honors College has provided unique opportunities for high-achieving, curious students from all walks of life.  Students from a broad range of studies work together on projects and research in the sciences and the humanities — all with the guidance of faculty who mentor them along their academic journeys. We’re seeking partners to help provide resources to ensure the success of the next generation of Honors College students.

Your gift to the Honors College can make a difference in variety of ways including:

  • Fostering student success through scholarships
  • Increasing faculty involvement in Honors courses
  • Providing experiential learning and hands-on research opportunities
  • Supporting innovation, new programs or projects, and other areas of growth for the Honors College

Our ability to award scholarships, retain world-class faculty and mentors, and create innovative courses and learning experiences is all made possible through philanthropic support. To build upon our community traditions of academic excellence and enrichment, we need your support. Thank you for considering a gift to the Honors College!

There are many options available for you in making a philanthropic gift.  If you would like to learn more and are considering giving opportunities such as establishing a scholarship, gifts of securities or including the Honors College in a planned gift, please contact Melia Douglass in the Office of Advancement at (573) 882-4215 or mdouglass@missouri.edu

Honors College Alumni

Throughout its more than 60 years of existence, Mizzou’s Honors College has graduated well over 12,000 alumni who have gone on to accomplished lives and careers. We value the contributions of all of our alumni, whether you took one class with us, completed the Honors Certificate or participated in our unique research offerings. Each alumnus represents a story of a broad and interdisciplinary curriculum, deep engagement and co-curricular programs. Because of the diversity of the college, our alumni have an immeasurable range of backgrounds, career paths, specialties and skills. We invite you to share your post-college journey with us.

We would love to hear from you, too! Please share what you’re up to now or reach out to be added to our alumni newsletter, which comes out around three times a year.
