The University of Missouri is one of just 36 universities across the United States and into the United Kingdom that partners with the Stamps Scholars Program on a premier scholarship. Mizzou has collaborated with the program since 2017, offering Tigers a full four-year scholarship, covering up to the total estimated cost of attendance (including housing), plus an additional $16,000 enrichment fund for students to use throughout their time at Mizzou.

Mizzou has welcomed more than 50 Scholars since the partnership began – and will bring in another stellar cohort this fall. Seven students will join the amazing Stamps community that Mizzou has built.

“We are very proud of the relationship we have built with the Stamps Scholars Program,” said Honors College Dean Catherine Rymph. “This scholarship allows our students to explore their interests and pursue leadership and service opportunities, as well as build vital networks throughout their time on campus. We are thrilled to welcome a new cohort this fall and excited to see where their journeys take them.”

Stamps Scholars at Mizzou must be enrolled in the Honors College for all four years, working toward the completion of the Honors Certificate. Scholars have a dedicated mentor, contact with campus leadership, alumni networking opportunities and funding for study abroad. Each student participates in undergraduate research as well, working with their mentor to find a project that fits their interests.

This year’s cohort will be pursuing a variety of degrees at Mizzou, including biomedical engineering, mathematics, biochemistry, journalism, biological sciences and constitutional democracy.

“It is exciting to have a group of students with different degree focuses,” Rymph said. “It gives our students the opportunity to truly become broadly educated as they learn from each other. Stamps Scholars often graduate with multiple majors, minors and certificates because their interests and talents take them in so many directions.”
