Biography
During the 2024-25 academic year, Rosenfeld served as a Faculty Fellow in the Honors College. In this role, she developed a study abroad program that extends the learning of the Honors Humanities Sequence. After 32 years as the First Violinist of the internationally recognized Colorado String Quartet, Rosenfeld joined the faculty at the University of Missouri in 2014 to teach and to explore other areas of interest. She has continued to perform both as a soloist and as a chamber musician, and has commissioned and recorded more than a dozen new compositions. In addition to her duties in the School of Music, Rosenfeld has taught in the Honors Humanities Sequence (Early Modern Period), as well as a semester of Perceiving Musical Traditions and Styles for the Honors College in the fall of 2021.
