Biography

Dr. Hahm’s research team investigates RNA virus-host defense interactions which includes viral mechanisms of immune evasion or immune suppression. Their research will determine detailed mechanisms of how pathogenic viruses regulate host machinery and how host immunity is designed to eliminate viruses. The study could help develop new therapeutics to remedy viral diseases and immune disorders.
