Honors College Study Abroad Programs

The Honors College provides unique and exclusive study abroad programs for our students, designed with a customized curriculum and cutting-edge experiential learning opportunities through partnerships with global institutions. Our programs are not “trips,” rather, they are fully articulated and intensive programs of study that put students square in the middle of the issues and content. These programs immerse our students in the challenges of understanding the world from a different culture and perspective.

  • Degenerate Music and Art in Vienna and Budapest
    • Experience two of the most important European cities — Vienna and Budapest — as they grappled with the aftermath of World War I. Immerse yourself in the art and music labeled “Degenerate” by the Nazis and that defined the culture of “Red Vienna” and Budapest. Join Julie Rosenfeld for two weeks of travel following a second 8-week spring course.
  • Kinder-RAI Oxford Summer School
    • Spend the summer immersed in the scholastic life and rich traditions of one of the world’s most storied institutions — the University of Oxford. Led by Billy Coleman and taught by Oxford faculty, this customizable program gives you the chance to live in the heart of Oxford at Corpus Christi College, study at Oxford’s Rothermere American Institute and receive insider access to Oxford’s resources.
