The University of Missouri Honors College enrolls more than 3,000 students representing nearly all of Mizzou’s degree programs. From taking classes with award-winning faculty to receiving funded research placements, the Honors College allows students to enjoy all the advantages of a large Research I university with the personalized experience of a small college. There are numerous benefits of being in the Honors College, including:

High School Applicants

Incoming freshmen can apply with test scores (ACT/SAT) or test optional. Check out the eligibility requirements.

Current Mizzou Students

Current Mizzou students can still benefit from the Honors College. We are looking for students who will integrate into Honors wholeheartedly and enthusiastically.

Transfer Students

If you are transferring to Mizzou, you are encouraged to consider the Honors College as an added component of your college experience.

Join the Honors Community!

Students must be admitted to Mizzou before they can apply to the Honors College. Once admitted to Mizzou, students who are eligible will see the Honors College application on their Application Status Page. Students who do not meet eligibility requirements can request an application.
