Pursuing Her Passions

Chinyere Omeife’s interest in healthcare began when she was just 6 years old after she had a routine blood draw. That interest grew into a passion as she got older and began interacting with her younger cousins. “I really enjoy working with kids and am very interested in becoming a pediatrician,” said Omeife, who is from Blue Springs, Missouri. “As soon as I was old enough, I began volunteering at hospitals and medical camps. Sara George, a senior double majoring in journalism and Spanish from Boulder, Colorado, did not originally have Mizzou on her radar. Meet the 2023 Mizzou Stamps Scholars

The University of Missouri is one of just 36 schools across the United States and into the United Kingdom that partners with the Stamps Scholars Program on a premier scholarship. Mizzou has collaborated with the program since 2016, offering Tigers a full four-year scholarship, covering up to the total estimated cost of attendance (including housing), plus an additional $16,000 enrichment fund for students to use throughout their time at MU.
