The Honors College Student Council is a student group responsible for planning social, academic, service and professional development events for Honors students. They do incredible work, including planning Geek Week and the Honors College’s involvement in Homecoming each year. This is an excellent opportunity to get more involved in Honors, network with Honors faculty and staff, and have fun!
Interested in joining the team? Potential members must be in good standing with the Honors College, be able to commit to biweekly meeting attendance and attend events as assigned throughout the semester.
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the Honors community? Are you interested in being more involved in the Honors College? If so, we invite you to join the Honors College Student Council! The council’s mission is to create an Honors community that supports all areas of Honors students’ lives by hosting events, promoting community service and supporting students’ professional development. Whether you enjoy creating social media posts, fundraising, advocacy or planning social events, there’s something for everyone. Check out the application for more information!
Applications are due Friday, Feb. 14. If you have any questions, please reach out to Willow Amann (willow.amann@missouri.edu).
