Advising

Honors College Advising is an important benefit of membership in the Honors College. Honors students are encouraged to meet with their honors advisor regularly so that we may get to know you and help you achieve your goals. The advising staff is available to assist you with academic, personal and professional questions. Your honors advisor will keep you apprised of the opportunities and benefits of membership in the Honors College in addition to encouraging your individual academic interests. Honors advisors are here to help and look forward to working with you!

Any honors student may see any honors advisor to discuss such things as career goals, changing a major, honors courses, etc. However, honors advisors do not serve as the primary advisor for students with declared majors and cannot substitute for a student’s assigned academic advisor. A student’s assigned academic advisor will be able to provide the most comprehensive information on requirements in the student’s degree program.

Drop-In Advising

Drop-in advising is available Monday-Thursday from 2:00-4:00 PM and Friday from 9:00-11:00 AM in 210 Lowry Hall.

Students will be seen on a first come, first served basis by the advisor assigned to drop-ins that day.

Scheduling an Appointment

Honors advisors are assigned by last name. However, if no appointments are available with an assigned advisor, students can meet with any of the honors staff listed below.
