Biography

Melia joined the Honors College as a Senior Director of Advancement in February 2023. She brings to the College 25 years of fundraising experience in the areas of annual and capital campaigns, major gift planning, planned giving and grant writing. She finds great satisfaction in connecting people who want to help with a cause that needs their help. A Northwest Missouri native, Melia is an alumna of the Trulaske College of Business. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband and two sons and traveling to fun destinations.
