Caitlin Kelleher - August & September 2017

Wow! The first few weeks are in the books as a freshman at the University of Missouri and as a Stamps Scholar! It has been a crazy ride, starting with move-in day, sorority recruitment week, my first college classes, and first football game. Although it has been a huge transition from New Jersey, I am so grateful and excited to make Mizzou a new place to call home.

Deciding to go through sorority recruitment has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I didn’t really think I was going to rush when I first decided to come to Mizzou, as I didn’t know much about Greek life, but I was convinced by friends back home that I would regret it if I didn’t at least give it a try. Little did I know, they were so right. After a long and tiring week, I finally got to run home to Chi Omega. Chi Omega and every girl in the house have made my first few weeks so much easier and smoother. It’s so exciting that I already have over 200 girls with a common interest at heart- a love for Chi Omega and its values.

On a daily basis, this scholarship continues to bless me. I feel like I am exactly where I am meant to be, rather, where I belong. I am beyond excited to see what I can offer Mizzou and all the things Mizzou continues to offer me.

Here is a photo from Bid Day, August 20th, at the one and only, Chi Omega!
