David Schenker, associate professor of classical studies, has spent 30 years at Mizzou leading through his teaching, service and contributions to the MU Honors College in and out of the classroom.
The Honors College honored Schenker this past spring with the 2020 Outstanding Faculty Award, but due to the pandemic, the award was announced virtually. In September 2020, Schenker received the honor at an in-person ceremony among friends, students, and family. It is his sixth teaching award he has received from Mizzou.
